DONE DEAL: Joao Felix to Manchester United is confirmed as swap deal with…

Mason Greenwood is reportedly the subject of a swap deal that Manchester United is considering.

United is reportedly mulling a trade involving Greenwood and Joao Felix of Atletico Madrid, according to the Daily Star.

After spending a portion of the previous two seasons on loan at both Chelsea and Barcelona,

Greenwood is reportedly being pursued by a number of European clubs,

including Atletico Madrid, who are reportedly prepared to provide Felix in exchange.

In 2019, Felix moved from Benfica to Atletico Madrid for a reported €113 million (£96 million), making him the fourth most expensive footballer in history.

He hasn’t been able to settle at the Spanish team, though, and it appears that he will be moving permanently this summer.

According to reports, Atletico made Felix an offer to join United in exchange for Greenwood leaving.

While Felix would presumably want to join a team competing in the Champions League,

United is reportedly considering if he would fit in well at Old Trafford.

Greenwood, meanwhile, was voted player of the season for his efforts when he joined Getafe on loan from United last season and scored 10 goals in 36 games.

Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, and Napoli are reportedly among the teams interested in Greenwood.

Greenwood, whose contract is about to expire, is someone United wants to sell.

The Star, meanwhile, asserted that Casemiro might be priced out of joining the Saudi Pro League. After a turbulent season at Old Trafford,

United wants to let go of the Brazilian and are reportedly open to accepting a price of up to £40 million.

But, a number of Saudi teams feel it is excessive for the 32-year-old,

whose Old Trafford contract is almost worth £400,000.
