Crystal Palace are negotiating to bring AFC Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham to Selhurst Park this summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano (June 27), the Eagles have already made contact to sign the 18-year-old midfielder, Jude Bellingham’s younger brother.

Along with Antonio Nusa, he is still one of Palace’s primary targets as they attempt to replace Michael Olise, who is poised to join Bayern Munich.According to the transfer guru, the Eagles consider the teenager as one of their “dream targets” and are ready to make a formal deal once they obtain a green signal from the player’s side.

If Bellingham decides to leave Sunderland, the Eagles are anticipated to make a serious push to lure him to Selhurst Park.

Oliver Glasner really likes the youngster and wants him to join the team this summer.Romano said in the Daily Briefing that Bellingham is also coveted by Brentford and other English clubs, but I would keep an eye on Palace because they are pressing.

“Their manager Oliver Glasner wants Bellingham, so it’s now up to the player, because if he gets the go-ahead, they’re ready to go all out on this.

“As soon as Bellingham decides, along with his family, Palace will attack the situation. Contacts have already begun, and he is without a doubt one of their dream targets, so keep a watch on this one.”

Crystal Palace must back Oliver Glasner in the transfer market

Glasner demonstrated last season that he is the appropriate man to lead Palace forward, with six victories and a tie in their last seven Premier League matches.

Losing Olise is a significant setback for the club, and Glasner may face additional transfer blows if Marc Guehi and Eberechi Eze leave this summer.

With money burning a hole in the pocket following Olise’s departure, the Eagles must fill the gap with excellent players.Jobe is an extremely skilled player who could play on a regular basis for a great Premier League team.

He scored seven goals and assisted once in 45 Championship outings for the Black Cats last season, and there is no reason why he can’t do the same at Selhurst Park, especially under a good management.

Palace’s transfer plan is clear: they aim to invest extensively in young players who, if successful, will have a high resale value. Palace has already signed Chadi Riad from Real Betis and is allegedly close to signing Daichi Kamada.
