According to Chris Beesley, Everton is not interested in acquiring Wilfred Ndid, a top player for Nigeria and

Leicester City, this summer.

The journalist for Liverpool Echo stated on Thursday, June 27, at 10:46, that there is no indication that the Toffees

are nearing a deal to sign the out-of-contract midfield player, despite rumors to the contrary. This season, Ndidi’s

future at King Power Stadium has generated a lot of discussion, although Goodison Park insiders have already stated

that the Foxes star is not something they are interested in.

“Curious to see reports elsewhere claiming that Everton are closing in on a transfer for Wilfred Ndidi,” Beesley wrote

in an article for the Liverpool Echo.

When the rumors initially started to circulate back in May, I looked into what the Nigerian international could be

able to provide the Blues. But earlier this month, when I explicitly inquired about the Leicester City player, I was

informed that there was no interest.

Ndidi would, on the surface, be a great addition to the Blues midfield since he would change up the midfield profile

and bring some more Premier League experience to the team without going over budget for a move.

It doesn’t appear likely, though, that this agreement will be finalized before the start of the following semester.

Having having brought Tim Iroegbunam to Merseyside, Dyche has strengthened his midfield.
