Amadou Onana speaks after clearing medicals and signing a four-year contract with Bayern Munich today.

It only makes sense to keep an eye on possible alternatives while Bayern Munich struggles to gain any traction with FC Fulham in the highly public transfer negotiations for Joao Palhinha.

Amadou Onana of Everton FC is reportedly one of the options “being considered by Bayern,”

according to Florian Plettenberg, as photographed by @iMiaSanMia.

With three years of experience at Hoffenheim’s academy and one year at Hamburg,

Onana is now representing Belgium at the European Championship and speaks fluent German.

But now that he’s at Everton, he appears to be exclusive,

following the pattern of high-priced Premier League stars.

Onana is “expected to leave Everton this summer,”

according to Sky Sport’s English section, but his valuation is €59 million.

Basically, Bayern would need to spend the sixth-highest transfer fee in the team’s history to get the former Lille star away from the Toffees.

However, given that rumors indicate Bayern are prepared to sign Palhinha as well,

it’s possible that the team would prefer to recruit a player who is six years younger than Palhinha in order to achieve that goal.
