Sunderland AFC and hummel today announced their 2024-25 home matchday collection, reviving an iconic history.

Fans will not have to wait long for the collection, which will be available online and at our brand-new stadium store beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, June 28.

The 2024-25 home shirt honors the City of Sunderland’s historic shipbuilding legacy, with all-over stripes evoking the Club’s former crest and an inner neck embellished with archival photos of shipyards and ships.

The inside collar reads ‘From the banks of the River Wear’, and the shirt is anchored to our modern home with the Stadium of Light coordinates tastefully put on the outer neck.

The shirt, priced at £60 for adults and available in short and long sleeves, as well as women’s sizes, will be released concurrently with a home matchday collection fully tailored to SAFC, which will include our 2024-25 home anthem jacket and green goalkeeper kit, a modern take on another classic Hummel design.

The gear includes Hummel’s revolutionary ECO8 technology, which will help our teams to perform at their peak from the start to the finish, and is made from eight recycled bottles.

Spreadex is happy to continue as our front-of-shirt partner, and after listening to fan comments, they have committed to supply a number of adult shirts without their mark for individuals who choose to wear unbranded clothing

Following a successful regional cooperation during the previous campaign, Utilita Energy remains prominently displayed on all infant and junior shirts.

And, for the first time, SAFC Women’s committed fans will be able to follow in their team’s footsteps, with jerseys with the Lasses’ front-of-shirt sponsor and Barclays Women’s Championship sleeve patches due to be available in September.

Following the introduction of Fanatics’ new online store, the Club’s new retail partner will take the spotlight on Friday with the opening of an outstanding new stadium store at Black Cat House.

Supporters will be able to visit the store seven days a week, with extended working hours available throughout the first month of operation:

Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, 9am-6pm
Sunday: 10am to 4pm

Shirt printing will be offered both online and in-store. Fans are cautioned that all team names and numbers are subject to change prior to the 2024-25 season, and the Club will not issue refunds or replacements if printing happens before the change is made.

Hummel, Blood Films, and photographer Will Cornelius collaborated to create promotional imagery for the 2024-25 home kit, which featured Aji Alese, Pierre Ekwah, Trai Hume, Natasha Fenton, and Mary McAteer at Sunderland’s historic Port
