Sunderland have now ‘turned down’ multiple bids for ‘fantastic’ gem,

one condition wasn’t met

After nearly two weeks of the transfer market, Sunderland has so far been able to hold onto its best players.

This summer, Sunderland decided to let go of Jack Diamond, Ellis Taylor,

Corry Evans, Nathan Bishop, Bradley Dack, and Alex Bass.

Though it was fortunate that most of their important players had signed new deals in the previous year,

their departure would still be possible.

While many are eager to hang on to players like Chris Rigg and Dan Neil,

they also anticipate that Jack Clarke will join the Premier League.

The only player who appears to be engaged in a transfer tug-of-war at the moment is Jobe Bellingham,

despite the fact that Anthony Patterson is drawing strong interest from the elite division.

After moving from Birmingham City to the Stadium of Light last year,

the “fantastic” midfielder scored seven goals.

Jobe Bellingham has been “turned down” by Sunderland.
Although they have previously communicated with the Black Cats regarding a possible deal,

Crystal Palace and Tottenham have not been able to secure a transfer at this time.

According to journalist Ed Aarons, Sunderland has previously “turned down” proposals for the teenager from “several” clubs.

Understand that Sunderland has rejected offers for Jobe Bellingham from Crystal Palace and numerous other clubs, Aarons wrote on X.

Reported that the club’s owners are set to hold onto the young midfield player for the upcoming campaign and will only entertain a sale for a sum greater than £20 million.

But if he can make Jobe’s £1.5 million price into £20 million, that’s some amazing business.

Jobe was far from good enough last season, despite being one of Sunderland’s better players and finishing as their second-highest scorer.

Although he obviously has a lot of promise and will undoubtedly become a true star in the future,

any elite team paying more than £20 million at this point would be taking a significant risk,

one that the Black Cats may greatly profit from.

Sunderland would like to wait another year to see whether his asking price increases even more,

but they would be foolish to turn down an offer that exceeds £20 million this summer.

The dismissal of Tony Mowbray in December and the appointment of Michael Beale,

who managed the team for just 12 games,

marked the beginning of the criticism.

Regis Le Bris took four months to be appointed manager of Sunderland after he left the Stadium of Light in February.

Supporters’ opinions have divided over the hiring of the Frenchman, who led Lorient to Ligue 1 relegation the previous season.
