The Premier League schedule has been released, but supporters of the SPFL in Scotland will have to
wait a little while longer to see their complete schedules for the upcoming season.
After beating Rangers to win the championship the previous year, Brendan Rodgers will find out
against whom Celtic will start their title defence. Philippe Clement will have to rebuild his team
across Glasgow this summer in an effort to catch their opponents.
Jimmy Thelin, the new manager of Aberdeen, and David Grey, the manager of Hibs, will try to get
their teams back into the top six and eventually overtake Hearts, who finished third in the previous campaign.
On the other side, Dundee United returns to the top flight following their Championship title win,
and Don Cowie will be hoping Ross County avoids a third straight 11th-place finish after being
appointed permanent manager following their play-off victory over Raith Rovers.
