DONE DEAL: Aston Villa, pleased to announce the Signing of Lewis Dobbin from Everton

Lewis Dobbin, a forward from Everton, has joined Aston Villa for an unknown sum.

The transfer occurs one day after Tim Iroegbunam, a midfielder, made a reported £9 million

movement in the other way.

The 21-year-old Dobbin has played 20 senior games for Everton, scoring one goal, since he joined

the team at the age of 11.

“Everyone at the club would like to thank Lewis for his contribution to Everton, from his journey through our academy to senior team, and we wish him all the best for the future,” stated a

statement from Everton.

Omari Kellyman, an offensive midfielder for Chelsea who is 18 years old, is reportedly close to

leaving Villa for a record £19 million.

Nassef Sawiris, a co-owner of Villa, recently declared that the Premier League’s sustainability and

profit regulations “do not make sense and are good for football”.

Villa voted against the implementation of PSR regulations, which allowed top-flight clubs to lose up

to £105 million over the course of three years beginning in 2015–16.
