After four and a half years in the position, the former manager of Everton and Manchester United will leave.

David Moyes will conclude his tenure at West Ham with a departure.

Given that his contract is slated to expire at the end of the English Premier League season,

his future has been a hot topic of conversation at the London Stadium.

The former manager of Manchester United and Everton led the team to victory in the UEFA Europa Conference League the previous season.

He has also led teams to two top-seven league finishes and marched to the quarter- and semifinal stages of the Europa League.

But after leading the Hammers for four and a half years, he will step down,

and the hiring process for his replacement has already begun.

The team has stated that they will wait to comment on the situation until they have chosen a new manager.

“I have enjoyed four and a half brilliant years at West Ham, and the club is in a stronger position than when I returned back in 2019,

” Moyes said in remarks about his departure on the official West Ham website.

West Ham was one spot above the relegation zone when I signed on for a second stint there,

and it has been an amazing trip to play in Europe for three straight seasons.

We guided the squad to sixth and seventh place places in the Premier League after steering the team to safety,

and I was thrilled when we won the Europa Conference League title in June of last year,

the club’s first major trophy in forty-three years.

I want to express my gratitude to each and every player for their contributions over the past four and a half years,

as well as for their successes.

“I want to thank the board for giving me the chance to manage this fantastic club.

I have truly enjoyed working with everyone at West Ham.

” I’m wishing everyone at West Ham—including the directors, players, staff, supporters, and myself—the utmost best in the future.
