Emerson Royal is one player who looks certain to leave Tottenham this summer 

AC Milan is showing interest in the Brazilian, and the North London team is still in talks with the Serie A

powerhouse about a potential transfer. According to Football Insider, Milan is looking into a number of options,

including a loan-to-buy, but the Premier League team wants to finalize a permanent transaction.

Emerson is not Ange Postecoglou‘s favorite player, and Pedro Porro has taken Emerson’s right-back spot this season.

As a result, Emerson has no future at Tottenham. The Brazilian did, however, still appear in 24 games across all

competitions; nevertheless, that number would have certainly been lower had Micky van de Ven not sustained a

significant injury in the early part of the season.

With 101 appearances for the team, four goals and two assists, the defender will be leaving Tottenham.

Due to the full-back’s lackluster tenure with the London team, Postecoglou is trying to bolster his options at right back.

After a successful first season under their Australian coach, Spurs will need to reduce the gap to the top four in the

Premier League in 2024–25.

Tottenham intends to use the Emerson Royal transfer money again.

Football Insider reports that Tottenham intends to reinvest the funds Emerson received in order to buy a young

right-back with future development potential under Postecoglou.

After a stellar 2023–24 season, Porro will be Spurs’ undisputed starter the following year;

all the North London team needs is a standout player who can relieve the Spaniard of some of his effort.

Although Tottenham’s current target is unknown, they can most likely acquire a good young player for £20 million.
