Vivianne Miedema finally Leaves for England

After spending seven years with Arsenal and turning into a legend inside the team, Miedema’s decision to leave the team was unexpected.

Along with leaving the London side, she will be splitting her professional career with her partner, Beth Mead.

Miedema has given a timeframe for her upcoming decision and an explanation of how she arrived at this conclusion.

Miedema made a suggestion in an interview with De Telegraaf that she could be open to joining a non-WSL club:

“My brother Lars and girlfriend Beth and I talked about a few options and choices.

“I want to make the choice before our actual matches begin in July. In less than two weeks, that is.

“I’ve always stated that I’m up for competing in different events.

I’ve lived in England for seven years, and I played football in the Netherlands and Germany.
