Atlectico Madrid set to finalize agreetment in signing top defender

They have been working on a deal for Robin Le Normand for the past few weeks,

and it looks to be nearing completion right now.

According to Diario AS, Atleti and Real Sociedad have agreed on an advance payment estimated to be between €30 and €32 million.

There is still some room for negotiation between the two clubs as add-ons are still to be finalized.

La Real wants the transaction to exceed €40 million, while Atleti does not want to pay so much in contingencies.

Another item that needs to be resolved during the talks is La Real’s desire to incorporate a sell-on clause in the

contract with Atleti.

It shouldn’t drag on too long, though, as Le Normand anticipates a deal to be finalized early next week.

Le Normand’s signing would be a great place to start for Atletico Madrid, who are ready for an exciting summer.

Simeone is sorely lacking his services.
