Atletico De Madrid has officially announced their first signing of the season.

Atletico Madrid is prepared to make improvements at right-back this summer. Even though Nahuel Molina’s 2023–24 season was incredibly dismal, he is still expected to start the following season. Club executives think that the Argentine’s return to peak form may depend on bringing in a backup.

Atleti appears to be looking closer to home now that they were unable to see Rodrigo Gomes play for the Wolves earlier this month. They are reportedly mulling a €7 million bid to capture Jesus Areso of Osasuna, according to Angel Sanchez.

Areso, 24, had a respectable season the previous year. His one goal against Getafe was an incredible strike that went on to earn La Liga’s goal of the season title. He also finished with six assists.

Areso is a talented player, and Atletico Madrid may sign him for a reasonable amount of money—€7 million. But if they desire a deal, they will have competition from Marseille, so it will not be simple to do one.
