£250k per week Crystal Palace Winger striker signs for West Ham

Michael Olise is on the verge of joining Bayern Munich after Chelsea conceded defeat in their chase for the Crystal Palace forward once more.

After speaking with representatives from Palace over the past several days,

Olise is rumoured to have agreed to personal terms for a move to join Bayern.

The German team is now anticipated to pay his release clause, which is estimated to be worth approximately £55 million.

Even though Olise, a France Under-21 international,

turned down a move to Stamford Bridge last summer in favour of signing a new contract at Palace,

Chelsea made another attempt to get him last week.

However, Chelsea is thought to have dropped out of the deal after first hearing that Olise was willing to

return to the team where he spent seven years as a young player.

Considering that Enzo Maresca’s team will compete in the Europa Conference League the next season,

suggestions that the clause is higher for clubs not in the Champions League would have required

them to spend more than £60 million for the 22-year-old. It’s also thought that Reading, Olise’s last team, will get a sizeable sell-on fee from the move.

Olise is believed to have already reached an agreement with Bayern,

whose representatives enjoy a cordial connection with Steve Parish,

the chairman of Palace, for a contract worth about £200,000 per week.

After making an immediate impression in south London,

Palace turned down an approach from Bayern Munich for manager Oliver Glasner at the end of the previous campaign.

Instead, they hired USA defender Chris Richards in 2022. Vincent Kompany was then chosen by Bayern to take Thomas Tuchel’s place.

In addition, Olise—who finished the previous season with 10 goals in 19 games and has established himself

as one of the Premier League’s most promising young players—had been asked by Newcastle to talk with him.

Despite Olise’s apparent imminent arrival, Manchester United and City have not pursued their long-standing interest in him.

Thierry Henry’s France team joined him this week, and he is now getting ready for the Olympics in July.

Omari Kellyman, a teenage forward for Aston Villa, is nearing a deal to join Chelsea for almost £19 million. The 18-year-old is said to be one of Villa Park’s best prospects, and the clubs have discussed deals involving Ian Maatsen, Jhon Durán, and Conor Gallagher. The left-back for Chelsea and the Netherlands, Maatsen, is nearing a £37.5 million transfer to Villa, who are also considering Gallagher.

Chelsea is still pursuing Kellyman even though their attempt to sign 20-year-old attacker Durán has faltered. Before going to, the assailant must undergo a medical examination and reach a personal agreement.
