Following two stellar campaigns and one plagued by injuries with the Italian team Roma, the

English striker is being linked to a few Premier League teams. Under Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho, Tammy joined Roma in 2021. As Mourinho selected the team, the striker was a given.

In 119 appearances, the former Chelsea youth player gave the Italian team 37 goals and 13 assists.

After observing his performance in Serie A matches, every elite team expressed interest in acquiring

the 26-year-old in the summer. Premier League teams are still interested in signing Tammy despite

his injury struggles.

Under new manager Julen Lopetegui, West Ham has identified the targetman as a possible addition,

but Tottenham is also determined to stay in the race. Tammy is no stranger to the Premier League, having previously played in it with Chelsea. Tammy made 82 appearances for the Blues in his two

years at Stamford Bridge, tallying 30 goals and 10 assists.

With Harry Kane leaving for Bayern last summer, Tottenham is searching for a striker to take his position. Strengthening his front line is Ange Postecoglou’s first priority because he struggled last

season without a suitable striker. Tammy can easily fit in with the Australian tactician’s playstyle

thanks to her quickness and scoring prowess. Tammy has a high ceiling if he can stay in shape,

so let’s wait and see how things develop.
