Southampton Looking Into Swoop For La Liga Attacker Ben Brereton Diaz

According to the Sun, Southampton is considering making a summer raid for Villarreal attacker Ben Brereton Diaz,

a Chilean international.

The 25-year-old was on loan from Villarreal to Sheffield United for the second half of the previous campaign.

He still managed to score six goals in 14 league games,

despite the Blades finishing bottom of their division and being demoted from the Premier League.

Although Brereton Diaz is expected to return to Villarreal in the summer,

the Premier League is once more showing interest in him.

According to rumors, Southampton manager Russell Martin is investigating a signing for the attacker, who is 25 years old.
