Despite the AS Roma and Manchester City deal, Napoli has launched a second €38 million proposal for the Atletico Madrid star.

Samu Omorodion, a striker for Deportivo Alaves, was viewed by scouts from Napoli,

but obtaining him from Atletico Madrid will not be simple.

Victor Osimhen is set to depart the Partenopei at the end of the season for a fee well over €110 million.

As a result, the club is looking for a replacement.

Gianluca Di Marzio, a transfer specialist for Sky Sport Italia,

claims that Napoli observed Omorodion in action for Deportivo Alaves,

where he has nine goals in 33 La Liga games this year.

He is worth at least €40 million and is currently on loan from Atletico Madrid.

Although the striker has stated time and time again that he sees himself with Atleti next season,

it is unclear whether he will accept a deal that Napoli attempts to broker.

He was signed by Alaves on loan in the summer of 2023 after being acquired from Granada for a mere €6 million.

He turned 20 earlier this month, holds dual citizenship from Spain and Nigeria,

and has been linked to Roma and a number of Premier League teams.
