Stoke City and Coventry City linked with transfer swoops as ex-Leeds United man in ‘formal’ talks

Marko Stamenic, a New Zealand international, is apparently very close to joining Coventry City from FK Crvena zvezda (Red Star Belgrade). The 22-year-old is reportedly worth around £4 million, and Mark Robins’ team has had their eye on him for some time. Last season, Stamenic made 33 appearances for the Serbian team. Coventry, who have been linked to Preston captain Alan Browne, who is out of contract, would reinforce their midfield with the completion of the transaction.

Timothy Fayulu, the goalkeeper for FC Sion, is rumored to be linked to the Potters.
