Atletico Madrid prepares to activate Dybala’s release clause.

In the wake of Paulo Dybala’s uncertain future at Roma,

Atletico Madrid has made a comeback.

Prior to this summer, the Spanish powerhouses were among the teams who had inquired about the Argentine attacker.

Dybala has one more year left on his Giallorossi deal.

But his current contract has a €12 million release clause that applies to any team outside of Italy.

Atletico, who were previously connected to the former Juventus player,

have reportedly rekindled their interest in him and are prepared to pay the previously disclosed sum, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Daniele De Rossi, who will be leading Roma for at least the next two years, is very keen to have the player rejoin the team for the upcoming campaign.

As the season comes to a close and Dybala will undoubtedly start thinking about the future, Atletico Madrid has a minor advantage because negotiations regarding a new contract between Dybala’s entourage and Roma have not yet taken place.
