Arsenal is preparing a player-plus-cash bid for Bruno Guimaraes, a midfielder for Newcastle United, according to rumors this morning.

This information comes from FootballTransfers, who have published an exclusive in which they state that the North London team has returned to Bruno after becoming dissatisfied with their efforts to sign Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi.

The Gunners are preparing a creative part-exchange offer, yet it’s unlikely Newcastle United will be interested because it has been previously claimed that they cannot afford to pay the Brazilian’s £100 million release clause!

The article notes that “one or two” of those names are probably on offer to Newcastle and that Oleksandr Zinchenko, Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah, and Thomas Partey are all available.
