With 13 goals and three assists in 29 games, the 23-year-old is having another fantastic season in

the Championship—four more goals than he scored in the whole previous campaign.

The likes of  Tottenham, West Ham and Crystal Palace are being strongly connected to him ahead of

the transfer window, and Lazio is now attempting to recruit him at the last minute.

According to TEAM talk, the Italian team has bid £15 million for the Englishman, but that amount is

far less than what the Black Cats are willing to pay for him.

Michael Graham says Sunderland want ‘north of’ £20million for Jack Clarke

Journalist Michael Graham responded to the allegations about Lazio, confirming the reports but

adding that Sunderland wants to sell its star player for more than £20 million; nevertheless, even

that amount is unlikely to persuade Sunderland to sell.

The amount of sincere interest in Clarke is demonstrated by the attention shown by West Ham,

Crystal Palace, and now Lazio—the latter of whom has put in a bid—all of which will appeal to the

player as he searches for a return to elite football.

Fans shouldn’t be concerned that Clarke will lose form before the season’s business end if he misses

out on a move again this month because he didn’t allow his performance levels to decline when he passed on a move in the summer.
