as the summer transfer window approaches.

Barcelona is keen to keep them around despite their inconsistent play in the second part of the

season. Because of his adaptability in the last third, Felix in particular is highly regarded by new

coach Hansi Flick.

Though there isn’t a clear solution in sight, Barcelona only has 13 days remaining on their contracts before they expire.

Man City seeking profit from Cancelo

According to Mundo Deportivo, teams like Manchester City and Atletico Madrid will make

Barcelona’s job more harder.

Man City, on the other hand, is hoping to make money off of the Cancelo trade. They have no

intention of authorising the Portuguese international to take out yet another loan.

Man City wants to incorporate a required buy option, even in the event that they do approve another loan arrangement. Given that the defender has a contract that expires in 2027, they value the player at about €30 million.

For his part, Cancelo is eager to stay at Camp Nou even though he hasn’t discussed it much lately.

What about Joao Felix?

Felix, on the other hand, has made it very evident that, despite having a mixed record with the club,

he wants to finish his career at Camp Nou.

Felix’s transfer issue appears to be under control of Atletico Madrid, who are requesting a minimum

of €60 million for the player, whose deal with Civitas Metropolitano does not expire until 2029.

Barcelona is optimistic that they can get Felix another loan arrangement; Jorge Mendes, Felix’s agent,

is already working on it.
