Like the 25-year-old Frenchman, Jonathan David (24) is the second-leading goal scorer in Ligue 1 this season and is rumored to be heading to the Spanish capital this summer.

La Voix du Nord claims that Atletico Madrid has contacted Jonathan David’s agency and the 24-year-old about a transfer this summer.

The Spanish team is eager to bolster their offensive line in front of the upcoming season.

David will begin his final year of contract next month, therefore Atlético is optimistic that they can work out a deal with Lille OSC for the striker.
