Over the next two weeks, the Whites have a lot on their plate as international

football takes center stage in European conversation, starting with sales.

In addition to the elite players from 23 and 24 who may be sold,

it’s expected that loan players from the previous season will also have their fates settled quickly.

One of the two Leeds players who has sadly kept his loan clause after

the team’s playoff final loss and relegation is midfielder Marc Roca.

He may therefore return to Real Betis on loan for 24/25, and it appears that he is eager to do so.

However, Marca has revealed an exciting new development.

They now plan to reach a permanent arrangement,

although a loan is agreed upon and ready to be formalized when the Spanish transfer window opens next month.

It’s the belief at Betis that they don’t want to delay their long-term ambitions with Roca,

therefore it makes sense for both sides to agree on a transfer price at this point.

Now that Roca is permanently joining Manuel Pellegrini’s team,

the two teams must work out a deal that benefits them both.

It is evident that Roca is not coming back and would not want to return,

thus it would be ideal to sell him permanently.

Nobody wants to see him drag out his departure for another year because that will only increase the uncertainty.

If Betis delays the process for a another year and we receive a promotion,

which is what is expected of us, then they will find it difficult to acquire Roca at a competitive rate.
