Trai Hume on Leeds’ radar alongside Premier League clubs

Along with Premier League and Serie A rivals, Leeds United is reportedly among the teams vying to recruit Sunderland full-back Trai Hume.

Throughout the upcoming summer months,

Leeds will need to add players to their roster for both the front and back of the team,

with full-back undoubtedly receiving special attention.

Leeds needs a right-back or two in their lineup because of the departure of Luke Ayling,

Since joining the Stadium of Light in 2022, the Northern Ireland international has drawn attention.

He helped the team win promotion from League One and went on to establish himself as one of the better right-backs in the second division.

He is renowned for both his aggressive defensive style and his excellent technical ability.

In addition to Leeds, five Premier League teams—including Aston Villa,

Bournemouth, and Leicester City—as well as Serie A powerhouse Napoli are also interested.

Since then, Hume—who is currently 22 and looking upward in the EFL—has discussed his ability to play in the top division.

Hume would be a great addition because of his performance at Sunderland,

which is rightfully drawing Premier League notice.

Given the necessity to fill other roles this summer,

the amount we spend will remain to be seen, but Hume would undoubtedly be a terrific addition.
