West Ham interested in signing ‘promising’ £25m striker

The summer transfer window has started quickly for the Hammers, as they signed Brazilian winger Luis Guilherme.

Now that preseason has begun, Julen Lopetegui is eager to add a striker to his team, and the team has gotten in

touch with a “promising” forward.

The Juventus forward Moise Kean is of interest to West Ham.

Edoardo Mecca reports that many teams, including West Ham,

have requested information about Moise Kean from Juventus.

After joining Everton in 2019, Kean made just 32 Premier League appearances before leaving on a permanent basis last summer.

The 24-year-old signed a £25 million contract to rejoin Juventus, but he struggled to score in his 20 outings.

The Hammers are reportedly interested in bringing him back to the Premier League, although Atletico Madrid,

Sevilla, Bologna, Lazio, Roma, and Fiorentina will all be formidable opponents.

West Ham needs to keep away.

Instead of pursuing Kean, the Hammers ought to look for a more experienced goal scorer on the continent or in the

Premier League.

The Juventus player is obviously out of form, therefore Lopetegui could make a bid for Youssef En-Nesyri of Sevilla if he wants to get off to a quick start.

The Morocco international scored 20 goals in the previous season and appears prepared to move to the top division in England.

He’s also apparently available for a fair price because Sevilla is reportedly eager to sell.
