Pavlovic, a graduate of Bayern’s development programme who Tuchel called “sensational,” made
his senior debut for Die Roten against Darmstadt in October 2023, substituting in the team’s 8-0
victory. His skill was evident almost away, and he went on to establish himself as a vital member
of Bayern’s engine room. In the 2023–2024 season, he played in 18 league games, starting 15.
The 20-year-old has secured his future for a further five years, and he will now have to win over his
new boss, Vincent Kompany. Burnley fired Thomas Tuchel at the end of the Premier League season,
and Kompany accepted Bayern’s coaching offer instead.
Pavlovic to Continue Bayern AffairFive More Years With The German Giants
Pavlovic expressed his happiness at staying with his childhood team in an interview with Bayern’s official channels, saying, “I’m thrilled that my contract with FC Bayern has been extended until 2029.”
It demonstrates the club’s faith in me, which I am happy to return. My home is FC Bayern. I want to continue growing personally and win trophies with the squad. I’m appreciative, joyful, and proud.
The sporting director of Bayern, Christoph Freud, said, “It’s been amazing to watch Aleksandar’s amazing development over the last few months.” From his very first season, he quickly made a name
for himself as a key component of the first squad, and he even went on to represent his country at football. Despite his youth, he exudes confidence and a sense of security for the team. We’re excited
for the upcoming years because he holds FC Bayern dear to his heart.
