Breaking:Nottingham forest to sign Maximilian Beier amid Taiwo Awoniyi summer exit

For the first time since joining the team in December, Nuno Espírito Santo, the manager of Nottingham Forest,

will have the chance to leave his mark on the roster this summer.

Midway through the season, the former Wolves manager took Steve Cooper’s position.

He was unable to fully instill his system in the players, but toward the end of the campaign, he showed signs of potential.

At Molineux, he employed a 5-2-3 structure, while at the City Ground, he often employed a 4-2-3-1 configuration,

maybe as a stopgap measure to keep the team in the Premier League.

Chris Wood, a striker for the Reds who was largely dependent on him to carry out the job,

proved many of his skeptics wrong by scoring 14 goals in the Premier League.

Nevertheless, despite Wood’s outstanding play for the Garibaldi Red, Nuno wants to add more attackers to his squad

in the off-season. One player in particular has been linked to a high-profile move to the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest is vying for talent worth £27.5 million.

Nottingham Forest is reportedly in competition to sign German striker Maximilian Beier from TSG Hoffenheim this

summer, according to BILD via Sport Witness.

The 21-year-old scored 16 goals in his 33 Bundesliga games the previous season, drawing interest from several

Premier League teams, including Manchester United and Liverpool.

The story continues by stating that Beier‘s current contract contains a €32.5 million (£27.5 million) release clause.
