Aamdou Onana, a star player for Everton, is reportedly being pursued by Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. According to reports, the Gunners have been strongly linked to a deal for Onana in recent months.

In 2022, the Belgium international signed a contract worth an estimated £33 million to join Everton from Lille. Since his initial transfer to Goodison Park, Onana has been one of the Toffees’ most important players.

Due to his success, the midfield player has been linked to a possible transfer to another Premier

League team. If reports are to be believed, Arsenal is reportedly interested in the player. It appears, though, that other teams are also keeping an eye on the prospect of signing Onana, aside from the Gunners.

interested in signing the Everton midfield player.

The report indicates that Spurs could attempt to target Onana as a replacement for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. It has been speculated that Tottenham would look to receive a £20 million fee for Hojbjerg, which could then be used to support the transfer of Onana from Everton.

The talk around Onana’s future at Everton has grown during the last few transfer seasons. With ambiguity around a possible takeover, it is unclear if the Goodison Park team will approve the midfielder’s departure at the end of the current campaign.

Ahead of the summer transfer window, Tottenham and Arsenal have both been connected to

prospective new midfield players. The Real Sociedad player Martin Zubimendi was also linked to
