One of the Whites’ most notable players last season,

the 26-year-old came to the team on loan from Spurs. After an impressive season at Elland Road,

where he only missed out on helping the Yorkshire club get promoted to the Premier League, he is now a “man in demand.”

Three Premier League teams are vying for Rodon’s services,

but the Whites would love to have him return to Yorkshire for another Championship campaign,

according to a report from Football London.

Rodon is not in Ange Postecoglou’s plans for the upcoming campaign,

although all three of the recently promoted teams—Ipswich Town,

Southampton, and Leicester City—have expressed interest in signing him.

But Spurs decided to exercise the contract’s final year option the last month because of their intense interest in the player.

He presently has a contract that expires in 2025.

For the online newspaper, Alasdair Gold wrote on June 16 that Leeds is currently not in a strong position to recruit Rodon.

That does not imply, however, that the White people would not try.

Rodon had a great time at Elland Road,

and he would really like to come back the next season to support Farke’s club in winning promotion.

He played for Leeds in 50 games the previous season,

helping them maintain a string of clean sheets at the start of the new campaign.

He had a solid connection with Pascal Struijk at first,

and then with Ethan Ampadu, but the Whites succumbed to Southampton in the play-off final at Wembley,

and they were defeated at the last hurdle.

If Leeds does not have the money to sign him right now,

they can put him back on loan and make the agreement permanent the following summer.

The financial consequences of losing out on promotion would make it difficult for the Whites to recruit Rodon this summer,

and the Wales international might be persuaded to play in the Premier League.
