Done deal ;Player sign contract with Southampton – Will be remaining in Premier League

When Saman Ghoddos’ contract with Brentford expires this summer, he plans to join Southampton instead.

That is according to Fotboll Skanalen, which is transmitting information from Varzesh Se, who reports that Southampton has moved to sign him on free transfer.

The Iranian midfielder will become a free agent at the end of this month, when his current contract with Brentford expires and the two sides decide to split ways.

That will bring an end to his four-year contract with Brentford,

who took him on loan from Amiens before making the deal permanent six months later.
However, it appears that his tenure in the Premier League will not come to an end,

as recently promoted Southampton have made an offer to recruit him.

According to Varzesh Se, Ghoddos wants to remain in England and the Premier League,

so he is about to sign a contract with Southampton.

The two parties are reported to have reached an agreement on all details,

and Ghoddos is expected to sign a contract with Southampton within the next few days.

“After conversing with Tony [Bloom], Paul [Barber], and David [Weir],

it became evident that they are quite ambitious.

The club has a distinct history and a daring vision for the future,

therefore I am thrilled to be a part of the project.

“The team has made remarkable development in recent seasons,

and the goal is to continue building on that success.

I am excited about the opportunity to coach in the Premier League,

and I can’t wait to meet the players, staff, and, of course, fans.
