Done deal: Celtic have officially signed Peter Vindahl Jensen from AZ Alkmaar on a four-year contract.

Peter Vindahl Jensen is reportedly in negotiations with the Scottish champions about a move to Glasgow after impressing on loan in Prague from AZ Alkmaar.

The Czech Republic side paid £3 million to make the deal permanent in March,

just as Joe Hart announced his retirement at the end of the 2023/24 season.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper made 47 appearances for the club last season and, like Hart,

helped Sparta Prague win the Czech League and Cup double.

Rodgers admires the player, and it is believed that Vindahl Jensen is still on the Scottish champions’ radar and will be on the club’s shopping list this summer.
