Chelsea is expected to lose a number of players at Stamford Bridge in order to make room

for new players, which suggests that their pursuit of a striker this summer will depend on sales.

And with Armando Broja supposedly on AC Milan’s shortlist and the Rossoneri in need of a

new hitman to replace leaving Olivier Giroud, it may be one frontman in and one out in west London.

After suffering a severe knee injury in an off-season game in November 2022, Broja was meant to

have a breakout season at Chelsea. However, with Nicolas Jackson joining the team in the summer,

he was demoted from his position at Stamford Bridge. The Albania international was loaned out to Fulham due to a lack of playing time, but despite being called “very important” by Marco Silva, he struggled to get minutes. Now that he’s reached a certain stage, he needs playing time, which Milan

may provide.

Armando Broja Transfer Latest

According to the source, Milan is prepared for a striker to take Giroud’s place in order to “take up

his legacy” and they have identified Broja as the person who can do exactly that. Giroud is reportedly moving to Los Angeles FC.

In addition to Broja, Bologna star Joshua Zirkzee is also a target for Milan due to his rumored £34 million release clause, which makes him stand out. It’s not impossible that Milan will make a play

for both strikers.

In order to discuss the possibility of negotiating with Chelsea for Broja, who is still recovering from

a knee injury sustained last season after failing to secure much playing time at Fulham with just 81 minutes of Premier League football under his belt, Milan chief scout Geoffrey Moncada was in

London on Friday.

Gianluca Di Marzio, however, claims that the Milan manager also traveled to Aston Villa to

negotiate about right-back Matty Cash. The Midlands team values Cash at approximately

£26 million. Milan is certain that they can negotiate a better deal with the Champions League team,

but Emerson Royal of Tottenham Hotspur is their backup.
