There have been rumors that Brendan Rodgers is considering signing Swiss international goalkeeper Yvon Mvogo,

as well as bringing Kieran Tierney to the team.
And even though it’s still extremely early in the process, Rodgers has yet to reveal to Celtics supporters

that he is beginning to assemble a team for the upcoming campaign.

While they wait, Willie Miller, a former hero of Aberdeen, has pushed Celtic to sign a player

who is presently playing for Scotland at the Euros, calling the move a “no-brainer.”

Celtic told to sign Scott McKenna

The Pittodrie icon, who saw the 27-year-old advance through the Aberdeen junior systems,

was praising Scott McKenna as a “great move for Celtic.”

“Any player coming through from the development squad and managing to make it into the first team at

Aberdeen usually has good habits and is brought up with them,” Miller remarked [The Celtic Way].

“I’m sure all Celtic players are raised similarly, but based on Scott’s character,

I have no doubt that if he signs with Celtic, he won’t cause you any problems and will give you everything he has.

“He has a great deal of ability and is a 100% type player.”

That being said, if Scott is available to sign for a free transfer, it would be a wise decision for

Celtic to try to convince him to join the team.
When questioned about his future at the Euros, McKenna said that he was entirely focused on the work

he had to do in Germany with Steve Clarke’s Scotland team, even if “there is nothing to tell” at this time.

However, he recently declined to rule out a move to Paradise.

The former Nottingham Forest defender was informed that Nuno Espirito Santo didn’t have him in his

future plans, and as his contract was about to expire, he was linked to Celtic.

Since his contract has expired, McKenna is currently without a club. He will be looking forward to the

opportunity to play in Germany and prove to them that he still has what it takes to be a top player.
