Now, on June 30, when his contract expires, he will go from Forest.

With 33 caps for Scotland and 106 games for Forest, McKenna‘s English experience checks several boxes at Parkhead.

After leaving Nottingham Forest, Scott McKenna was instructed to sign with Celtic.

Football Insider reported in January that Celtic was one of the teams keeping an eye on McKenna’s circumstances,

and that his availability on a free transfer prompted them to rekindle their interest.

Hutton outlined his comprehension of what it takes to perform in Scottish football’s high-pressure environment and

why this transaction should go through given the chance to compete in the Champions League.

He told Football Insider, “I think it would be a really good decision for him to go and be part of that Celtic team.”

“He’s been down south, on loan, and now he wants to go somewhere and find a place to call home, play regular

football, and be happy.”

He also has a great deal of foreign experience.

He is aware of the main points. He is aware of the pressure he would face if he plays for Celtic, but he is unfazed by it.
