Done deal: AC Milan confirms player exit for €22 million

Charles de Ketelaere of Milan is expected to acquire a permanent contract with Serie A team Atalanta following an outstanding loan season at La Dea in 2023–2024.

La Dea had previously stated that they intended to sign the Belgian permanently,

but they also wanted to get reductions on any possible contract.

It appears that the player will in fact become a permanent member of the Europa League champions as progress has been made.

According to Sky Italia, the purchase will proceed and the specifics will be announced later today.

The amount that must be paid is €22 million,

which is just €1 million less than Milan had originally requested in accordance with the negotiated agreement.

The money will be released shortly.

Meanwhile, Atalanta is pursuing Nicolo Zaniolo and may be able to sign him to a loan agreement.

However, Fiorentina may make a move for the Italian winger as they are also intrigued.
