Official:Heung min son has finally made a carrier decision to join Everton

According to a fresh rumor, Everton talked about trying to buy Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min in the summer of 2024.

After moving from Bayer Leverkusen to Spurs in 2015, the South Korean attacker has emerged as one of the league’s greatest names.

In 220 games across all competitions, he has scored 83 goals and assisted on 44 more.

During the football hiatus, he is in the second of three weeks of required military training with the marines back in

his home country.

Even though the 27-year-old is now one of Tottenham’s most dangerous players, he had trouble adjusting to life in

north London during his first season and even expressed his desire to leave the team before the Argentine managed

to persuade him otherwise.

“Premier League football is unique. Son said, “I don’t want to compare this to the Bundesliga because the Bundesliga

is of excellent quality, but everything moves much more quickly and physically in the Premier League.”

“I played and scored some goals in the beginning. Regretfully, I hurt myself, and it was challenging to get back in

contact with the team.

“The coach has always supported me, but I was left with no more games and wanted to return to Germany since I felt

so at home there. In this particular scenario, he was the ideal coach for me.

He genuinely wanted me to succeed at Tottenham, even if I expressed my desire to quit the team.

He restored my confidence. The conversations went so well that I eventually ignored my desire to change.”

According to a report published in the Liverpool Echo, Everton explored using their enhanced financial resources to

make a move for the South Korean attacker during the first transfer window under new owner Farhad Moshiri‘s

ownership in the summer of 2016.

“After a difficult first season at Spurs, Son Heung-min and Gylfi Sigurdsson, valued at £25 million at the time, would

be discussed at a transfer summit that day at Finch Farm,” reported Phil Kirkbride, the Everton FC writer for the

Echo.
