Notingham Forest in battle with West Ham over the signing of 22-year-old defender from Le Havre AC
WEST HAM AND NOTTINGHAM FOREST INTERESTED IN LE HAVRE’S ÉTIENNE YOUTÉ KINKOUÉ
Le Havre AC’s Étienne Youté Kinkoué (22) is reportedly attracting interest from West Ham United and Nottingham
Forest, per a report from L’Équipe.
This summer, Le Havre is ready to lose a few of its most important players. The club and manager Luka Elsner are at
odds about their need to comply, as Elsner’s future with Les Ciel et Marines is uncertain due to interest from Stade
de Reims.
Youté Kinkoué is one of the players who is appearing more and more likely to depart. In January 2023, the
then-youth international for France joined Le Havre, who was in Ligue 2.
He had come from Nottingham Forest’s owners’ club, Olympiacos.
Because they are acquainted with Youté Kinkoué, the Premier League team may want to get rid of him this summer.
They might, however, have to contend with West Ham and an other Premier League team that isn’t announced.
Talks to sign the center-back, whose contract expires at the end of the following season, are also underway with an
undisclosed German team.
