Although Doncic admitted that the example he gave was from the regular season, it did aid in the team’s unity and chemistry-building before to the playoffs. They will hold onto their beliefs even though it won’t be simple.

“I realize it’s the regular season, but at that point, we all came together, and our chemistry took off.” All we’re going to do is believe. We discussed this in the locker room, and I have faith that we can succeed and will persevere through to the very finish.

Doncic said in the news conference that his lackluster performance in Game 3 disappointed his coaches and teammates. Doncic shot 14.3% from three-point range and 40.7% from the field to record 27 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds.

Doncic faced criticism for his habit of disputing calls with the referees for not receiving enough of them. The Slovenian superstar’s performance was subpar, and it appears that his coaches and teammates requested him to quit berating referees so he wouldn’t get into jail or cost them the game.

Luka Doncic discussed his performance and outburst during Game 3 with ESPN’s Malika Andrews. He said that he made mistakes and didn’t perform up to the standards set by the coaches and the squad. Doncic pledged to do better and avoid repeating his mistakes in the future.

“It was difficult. It was probably not the best idea. However, I didn’t expect to receive six fouls because it was a physical game,” Doncic remarked. It’s difficult. I always say it’s easier to be in the game than being on the bench.

I was more nervous on the bench. It wasn’t the smartest thing to do… this is the Finals. I told my teammates, ‘My bad, you can’t do that — especially in the NBA Finals.’”

Tomorrow night, Luka and the Mavericks will try to win Game 4 in order to reclaim the series. The Mavericks will need to overcome a 3-0 deficit in order to win the NBA Finals, even if they win Game 4. This is something that has never been done in NBA Finals history.

Kyrie Irving, Luka’s teammate, has experience pulling off seemingly impossible feats. As a member of the 2016 Cavaliers team, which rallied from a 3-1 deficit to win the NBA title in what is widely regarded as one of the greatest NBA Finals series in history, Irving helped the team win the championship.

With a totally new group of teammates, Kyrie will have to hope he can repeat the same feat twice.
