Everton takeover update: UK-based investor makes fresh offer

Paul Joyce of The Times reports that a new investor, Vici Private Finance, located in the UK, has made a “concrete”

approach to purchase Everton.

Two affluent billionaires support Vici, and they have submitted an offer within the last week.

The new firm will not take out a loan to buy Farhad Moshiri’s 94% shares; they have demonstrated that they have

approximately £1 billion in cash on hand.

After months of talks, the group is prepared to not only match Moshiri’s requests but also to offer interim funds

until the project is completed in order to stabilize the club’s finances.

Joyce stated on Thursday, June 13th, that Keith Harris is advising on the Vici offer. In 2016, he served as deputy

chairman of Everton’s board of directors for a limited period of time.Numerous wealthy investors have made

Moshiri numerous offers since he ended the agreement with 777 Partners. On June 12, The Telegraph revealed that

American financial company A-Cap was considering purchasing Everton.

According to numerous reports, the Dell family-supported Everton supporters Andy Bell and George Downing are

also strong candidates.

Vatche Manoukian, an Armenian in London, had put forward a £400 million bid, indicating that Moshiri is

currently faced with a number of possibilities.

All of these, excluding A-Cap, appear promising and ought to thrill the fan base. The best thing about Vici’s bid is

that they are not taking out a loan and are dedicated to supporting the team in the near future, which is important

because the Toffees need the money to buy some quality players.

Furthermore, they don’t have any ties to Saudi families and don’t come from a contentious or questionable

background. They appear to be sincere in their interest in purchasing Everton and are a recently founded multi-

family investment fund office in the UK.
