Done deal: Celtic has completed the signing of Martin Dubravka from Newcastle.

Regarding Celtic’s alleged interest in Martin Dubravka’s services this summer, the player has responded personally.

The 35-year-old goalkeeper for Newcastle is reportedly on the team’s shortlist for a stopper, along with Peter Vindahl Jensen,

who is their top priority, as Football Scotland exclusively revealed to you.

In order to replace Joe Hart, who retired, and Ben Siegrist,

who is anticipated to depart Glasgow prior to the commencement of the upcoming season,

the Hoops are searching for two new goalies.

In an interview conducted when he was training for Euro 2024 with Czechia,

Dubravka disclosed that the Celtics had shown interest in him both this summer and last year,

but he would only go further if a “concrete” offer was made.

“I am aware that there are rumours, teammates ask me about it, agents and people call me, if there is any truth to it,” he stated.

“You see, I stayed in Newcastle, so there was some truth to that a year ago.

As long as there isn’t an official offer on the table, I won’t deal with it at all.

“I informed my agents that I would only take it into consideration if it was concrete and there was an offer.

It is merely at this level of some noises right now.”
