Rangers to complete the signing of 21-year-old Ghanaian defender from FC Lorient

Nathaniel Adjei still on Rangers transfer radar 

Rangers are reportedly considering Nathaniel Adjei as they want to bolster their defense one more,

according to sNathaniel Adjeiources from Sweden.

The 21-year-old Hammarby star was reportedly connected to both Celtic and the Gers last season,

and it seems like Philippe Clement is still considering him.

The Swedish team’s option to purchase the center-back, which they had on loan at Lorient in France,

was nullified by their relegation from the top division.

The Gers have already added left-back Jefte and AC Milan rookie Clinton Nsiala to that position,

but Expressen claims they have shown interest in Adjei. But Anderlecht,

a team in Belgium, has also stated that they would like to sign the 6′ 3″ defender.

According to the source, Gers and Anderlecht were only willing to offer £3.75 million for the midfielder,

but Hammarby will seek £5 million. Feyenoord and the French teams Strasbourg and Reims have also expressed interest.

Meanwhile, Connor Barron of Aberdeen, who is a free agent, is reportedly in the sights of the Gers.

The midfield player may be poised to end his vacation early to undergo a medical examination, according to reports.

Yusuf Kabadayi, who might soon play for the Rangers, is another player that they have their sights set on.
