Newcastle officially secure a double signing with Kelly and Aaron Ramsdale.

Aaron Ramsdale, an Arsenal star, has denied rumors that he has committed to joining Newcastle during the summer transfer window.

Since David Raya arrived, the England international has been the Gunners’ backup goalkeeper this season,

sparking a lot of leave rumors. The most recent of those came from Sky Sports, which disclosed that he had a deal in place to join Newcastle.

James Green, a correspondent for Sky Sports, discussed the problem and the proposed arrangement with Newcastle when appearing on The Highbury Squad. Green remarked,

“I understand that Aaron Ramsdale has committed to joining Newcastle in the summer.”

To be honest, I don’t believe many Arsenal supporters will be surprised by that.

He was too good to just sit there and be a backup goalkeeper;

I believe the writing was on the wall. It was inevitable.

“He was always going to move on to other pastures,

and I saw some rumors from other journalists discussing possible goalkeeper replacements for Raya this week.

It was said that Jason Steele from Brighton is one such player, and I believe he would make an excellent number two.

After that, Ramsdale responded on X, which was once Twitter, writing, “News to me [laughing face emoji].”

Although he may yet leave Arsenal this summer,

the player seems to have strongly refuted rumors that he will sign with the Magpies.
