Following Enzo Maresca’s departure for Stamford Bridge, Leicester has reached

out to former Chelsea manager Graham Potter regarding a possible head coach position.

Ever since Maresca left the team to take Mauricio Pochettino’s post at Chelsea, Potter has been connected to the Foxes position. Additionally, Fabrizio Romano reports that the Englishman has

begun discussions with the Championship winners, who are searching for a new manager to guide

them into their inaugural Premier League season.

The Bigger Picture

Potter, a former manager of Brighton and Swansea, is a great contender for the Foxes and has

been connected to several Premier League teams since Chelsea fired him in April of last year.

He is not, however, the only substitute for Maresca that Leicester is thinking about.

The King Power Stadium team has allegedly also spoken with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the former

manager of Manchester United, and there have even been hints of an audacious bid for Edin Terzic,

the coach of Borussia Dortmund, given rumours that the German is not fully content at his current

club.

If Potter is chosen by Leicester to replace Steve Cox as head coach this summer, he may be headed

back to the Premier League.

Leicester is looking for someone to replace Maresca. I’ve reached out to former Blues manager

Potter Solskjaer, who is also connected to a Foxes move.
