Oh Hyeon-gyu appears very close to leaving Celtic after agreeing personal terms on a transfer to Genk.

Respected Belgian writer Sacha Tavolieri, who has 98,000 Twitter followers,

provided extremely specific information about what appears to be the first significant departure from

Celtic this summer around 6 p.m. tonight.

Following the addition of Adam Idah, Oh struggled to get a spot on the bench after a strong first year at Celtic.

His final game was an 80-minute substitute against Kilmarnock on February 17.

Kyogo Furuhashi is the only first team striker for Celtic with links to Idah expected to stay if the trade goes through.

The aforementioned payment, which comes to more than £4 million, may be used to ensure Idah’s permanent return.

Although Celtic is certainly interested in moving on from a number of first team players,

it is unlikely that any major bids will be made for Yuki Kobayashi, Ben Siegrist, Marco Tilio, or Kwon Hyeok-kyu.

With Brendan Rodgers seemingly in complete control of player movement both in and out,

activity is expected to ramp up tomorrow when registration for new signings opens.
