Atletico Madrid willing to a swap deal with Barcelona for Joao Felix
This summer at FC Barcelona, there is some degree of doubt surrounding a few players. Even
while he Catalan giants are aware that both arrivals and departures need to be taken into account,
things still need to be done methodically. That’s where Barcelona’s issue with their loan players
comes in.
For example, Joao Felix is a player whose future remains uncertain even when his current Barcelona loan expires. Although it appears that Atletico Madrid is aware that the player might never again
wear their uniform, they still require payment in order to give him to Barcelona.
According to SPORT, Atletico Madrid would be open to exploring a straight exchange that would
result in a permanent transfer of ownership with regard to Joao Felix, even though a direct transfer
of finances is out of the question because Barcelona is more prepared to extend the loan.
Prior to this, Ferran Torres’ potential transfer to Atletico Madrid appeared to be on the table. But it appears that since then, Los Colchoneros’ preferences have changed, and they would much prefer see
the 19-year-old Vitor Roque of Barcelona arrive in place of the Portuguese forward.
The young Brazilian striker is being used as a negotiating chip because his future is already unclear. Barcelona is determined not to lose the young Brazilian striker permanently despite the fact that it is already unclear whether he will register for the upcoming campaign. They know he has the ability to burst into action.
For this reason, Barça would only contemplate taking him on loan at most. Given how good Roque
has the potential to become, Barcelona is insistent on keeping the future rights to him, even though
that might not be ideal for Atletico Madrid, who are looking to overhaul their front line.
