OFFICIAL: Rangers signs Clinton Nsiala, ‘Thank you AC Milan’ – Nsiala bids farewel

When it comes to his Rangers rebuild, Philippe Clement is running out of time. However, Marco Negri has forewarned

the Ibrox coach that he would need to wait for Clinton Nsiala, a recent recruit.

After deals for Jefte and Oscar Cortes, the AC Milan youngster has agreed to become Clement’s third summer addition.

He will report once his San Siro contract ends at the end of this month. Many more will come as the large Belgian begins

to restructure a team that collapsed under the pressure of the championship race once more.

With nine games in the first month of August, the Gers are looking to make a strong start to the Premiership and qualify

for the Champions League. The Ibrox gaffer and recruitment chief Nils Koppen are well aware that their new additions

will need to get started right away. However, former Ibrox star Negri acknowledges that he would be taken aback to see

20-year-old Nsiala play a significant role in Clement’s starting lineup early on.

Though he has never played for a major side, the France youth cap brings a lot of talent to Ibrox but lacks top-team experience. However, Negri thinks that patience is a quality that will eventually pay off greatly at Ibrox.

“I know Clinton well,” the retired poacher, who had previously worked with the Rossoneri’s Academy, said to Record

Sport. I’ve watched a lot of the AC Milan youth team, and I’m constantly keeping an eye out for the young players who

are making an impression.

He is a center back with an excellent, contemporary profile. Extremely combative, possessing a strong left foot, and at

ease with the ball. However, he has only played football at the Under-19 level, which is far lower than that of a first team,

and he is extremely young.

‘Thank you AC Milan’ – Nsiala bids farewell after Rangers move was confirmed

Clinton Nsiala, whose departure from AC Milan was announced yesterday, has expressed gratitude to Ignazio Abate and

the team for helping him develop as a player.

After gaining both personal and professional development over the past three years, it’s time to bid this team farewell.

A group that raised me as a kid, raised me as a man, and became family,” he remarked.

“A group of people and a coach who never gave up on me.” Speaking of coaches, Ignazio Abate, you guys have always

and still do believe in me, and without you, I wouldn’t be where I am now despite my feet and diligence.
