Manchester United has lost the transfer fight for £34 million and plus add-on star to AC Milan as negotiations take a new turn.

Joshua Zirkzee of Olgona has been connected to a transfer to Manchester United.

The Athletic has reported that Joshua Zirkzee,

a striker for Bologna,

is poised to leave Manchester United in the summer and join AC Milan.

The 23-year-old Dutch international recently shone for the Italian team during their Champions League qualifying round.

In 34 league games, he tallied 11 goals and 4 assists,

helping Bologna to fifth place in the Serie A standings.

The gifted Joshua Zirkzee,

whose contract contains a £34 release clause, appears to be of interest to the Red Devils as a result.

The Athletic, however,

claims that AC Milan will likely defeat Manchester United to capture Zirkzee this summer.

It goes without saying that Manchester United needs a strong goal scorer to lessen the load on Rasmus Hojlund’s inexperienced shoulders. In his Premier League debut, the 21-year-old Danish international scored 16 goals in all competitions.

Erik ten Hag started Bruno Fernandes as a false nine and left Hojlund off the bench in the final two Premier League games,

and the FA Cup final against Manchester City because the 21-year-old did sustain a few injuries during the season and appeared worn out at the end.

Zirkzee appears to be a target for our team to cover and challenge Hojlund the next season.

The Dutchman might help Man United overcome its goal-scoring problems in 2023–2024 while letting Hojlund grow without too much strain.

The 20-time English champions must adhere to the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) by making wise transfers in the transfer market.

Zirkzee’s contract has a £34 release clause,

which makes him ideal for our club as we look to improve the squad in a number of areas.

Milan’s current advantage in the competition to recruit the 23-year-old,

however,

is bad news for INEOS and Man United.

If Zirkzee is also interested in moving to Milan,

we need to work fast to find other targets.
