JUST IN: Chelsea finally seal £42m deal for Aston villa star striker Jhon Duran – Personal Terms agreed

According to reports, Jhon Duran from Aston Villa has agreed to a stunning £42 million deal with CHELSEA.

Amazing rumors from the Colombian striker’s home country state that the Blues have agreed to a fee after first pursuing Duran in January.

According to reports, the 20-year-old is advocating for the relocation to Stamford Bridge.

And as the transfer becomes closer, he is already said to be in contract negotiations with Chelsea.

Duran only moved to Villa from Chicago Fire, an MLS team, eighteen months ago.

In 49 appearances at Villa Park, he has eight goals.

And Duran was the subject of strong interest from Chelsea in January.

The Blues opted against a winter move despite Armando Broja’s Fulham loan and Christopher Nkunku’s latest injury setback.

But Colombian outlet En La Jugada RCN claims a deal to take Duran to London is finally in the making.

Villa are said to have accepted a deal worth £42m for the young forward.

Unai Emery has made no secret of his side’s need to sell, despite their fourth-place finish and subsequent Champions League qualification.

Ollie Watkins is the clear first-choice striker in the Midlands.

And Duran could find opportunities easier to come by under Enzo Maresca, who currently has just Nicolas Jackson to rely upon.

Duran may not be the only player leaving Villa this summer.

Reports in Italy claim Juventus have struck a deal for Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz.

It’s reckoned the Serie A giants will hand over cash, plus two players in Winston McKennie and Samuel Iling-Jr, to get the move done.

Villa are also expected to listen to offers for Diego Carlos.

But they will be making signings too, and are hoping to close a £5m deal for Luton’s Ross Barkley soon.
