Will still rectified a mistake made by Sky Sports on Instagram with a scathing one-word remark, as Sunderland continues to pursue his services.

The Black Cats are under increasing pressure from owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus to make a decision,

and they have been looking for a permanent manager to replace Michael Beale for more than a month.

Whoever left Reims in France this month is still Louis-Dreyfus’s favourite.

Raphael Wicky, however, is a fresh candidate being considered to be Sunderland’s next manager,

according to a story published by Sun Sport yesterday.

Yesterday, Sky Sports provided an update on Sunderland’s manager hunt,

indicating that the Englishman remains one of several potential candidates.

However, they misrepresented the fact that he had left Reims after their 11th-place Ligue 1 finish.

Still noticed it and soon fixed it in the comments, writing “9th*.”

Reims was mired in a Ligue 1 relegation battle when the 31-year-old took over as manager in October 2022.

Prior to that, he had been as Oscar Garcia’s assistant.

After that, he guided them to a 19-game winning streak and an 11th-place result.

Reims announced the Englishman’s departure with immediate effect with three games left in the season,

exactly where they were last year. Despite this, Reims managed to finish ninth.
